Pátio do Colégio
Praça Pateo do Collegio, 2 - Centro Histórico de São Paulo, São Paulo - SP, 01016-040, Brazil
This is where São Paulo was born! On January 25, 1554, Jesuits led by fathers Manuel da Nóbrega and José de Anchieta held the first mass, establishing a mission to convert indigenous peoples. This sacred place is where the great metropolis began with a simple hut covered in palm leaves. Today it houses a museum, church, and charming square with beautiful views of the city's eastern districts. A true journey back to colonial times!
